During colder weather, Goodman's SmartShift® Defrost Technology helps provide quieter and more reliable defrost cycles while maintaining indoor comfort. The outdoor unit also features a high-capacity muffler to help reduce operating sound levels for quieter operation. Factory-installed high- and low-pressure switches help monitor system conditions and protect critical components during operation.

The GLZS4BA4810 is equipped with factory-installed refrigeration protection designed to help safeguard the system during both heating and cooling operation.
