The Second Wind 2000 duct mounted UV air purifier is extremely simple to install. The unit is installed in the return air ductwork near your furnace. Simply drill a hold, mount the unit with sheet metal screws, and plug it in. That's it! The lamps should be replaced annually for optimal performance (note: even though the lamps may still look operational the performance deteriorates over time).
A Second Wind™ mainstay, two high output UVC lights produce the strongest germicidal field in the industry, while the PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) process breaks own odors.
CAUTION: Be sure unit is turned off during installation or lamp replacement. Do not look directly at bulbs that are on. Do not touch lamp with bare hands.
